How big do NPC houses need to be in Terraria?
EarningOunce路8 months agoHonestly, just make them 10x6 tiles and throw in the basics: door, table, chair, light. NPCs aren't picky, they just wanna move in!

Too big and NPCs get lost, too small and they're claustrophobic. Stick to the sweet spot: 60 tiles is your golden number.
NPC houses in Terraria need to be at least 60 total tiles, but not more than 750, to be considered valid housing. This includes the floor, walls, and ceiling. Also, don't forget you need at least one light source, a door, a table, and a chair. A simple 6x10 room does the trick perfectly.
