Instagram posts are usually 1080x1080 pixels for square images, but you can also upload 1080x566 pixels for landscape and 1080x1350 pixels for portraits!
From my experience, sticking to 1080x1080 pixels for everything makes life way easier. Happy posting!
Just remember: 1080 pixels wide and you're good to go, whether square, landscape, or portrait.
