The sweet spot for a MTG deck is typically 60 cards. That's the minimum for most constructed formats and really where you want to stay to keep your deck consistent. You want to draw your best cards as often as possible, right? Anything more starts diluting that chance. And don't forget, you gotta have about 24 lands in there to keep your mana flowing!

I've seen folks play with 100-card decks in Commander format, which is a whole different ball game! But for standard play? Stick to 60 cards. That way, you're not fishing for your key cards in an ocean of maybe useful ones.

Just go with 60 cards, trust me. Keeps the game smooth and your strategy tight.

Honestly, bigger isn't always better. I've jammed 80+ cards in a deck before thinking I was a genius... I wasn't. Stick to 60, make your deck sharp, not a haystack.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
