Honestly, people overcomplicate it. If your Pokemon gets Burned, just think of it as a ticking time bomb. Each turn could be its last unless you heal it or luck out with the coin flip. Adds a fun, suspenseful twist to battles if you ask me!

Simple. Burn = coin flip at end of turn. Tails, you're in trouble! Loses 20 HP.

In Pokemon TCG, when a Pokemon is Burned, you put a Burn marker on it. At the end of the player's turn, you flip a coin. If it's heads, the Pokemon heals and you remove the Burn marker. But if it's tails, the Pokemon takes 20 damage (or the specified damage based on the card's effect) from the Burn. Remember, being Burned doesn't stop a Pokemon from attacking or using abilities unless the card says otherwise.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
