Easy peasy! Just go to the profile of the person you've sent the request to, and you'll see a button that says 'Friend Request Sent.' Click it and select 'Cancel Request.' Boom, you're done!
From my own experience, open their profile and click on 'Cancel Request.' It's super quick!
