First-hand tip: I just changed mine last week! Go to the Xbox app, tap your profile picture, click 'Customize,' and then 'Change gamertag.' Super quick, and it shows the change immediately.

Easy-peasy! Just head to the Xbox website or your console's settings, navigate to your profile, and select 'Customize Profile.' You'll see an option to change your gamertag there. Make sure you have your new name ready!

Why change when you've already conquered the gaming world with your current tag? But, okay, if you must, check out the settings on your console. Simple as that.

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
