Sorry, Snapchat usernames are permanent. Your best bet is to create a new account if it really matters.
Trust me, I've been through this. Best you can do is update your Display Name to something you like.
You can't change your Snapchat username, but you can change your Display Name! Head to your profile, tap on your current name, and edit away. It'll update how others see you without needing a new username.
