Super simple! Just go to Settings & Privacy > Settings > Your Facebook Information > Deactivation and Deletion. Choose 'Deactivate Account' and follow the prompts. Easy peasy!
Why deactivate it? Just delete the thing. But if you must, head to Settings & Privacy, then follow the 'Your Facebook Information' trail.
I did this last month. Just head to Settings, then click on 'Your Facebook Information,' and from there select 'Deactivation and Deletion.' Choose 'Deactivate' and confirm your password. Voil脿!
