Easy peasy! Just open the conversation, hover over the message you want to delete, click on the three dots, and select 'Remove.' Voila!

I've done this a bunch of times. Open the chat, find the message you wanna delete, click those three dots next to it, and bam, hit 'Remove for You' or 'Remove for Everyone' if you wanna erase it from the world entirely.
