DroppingSway路7 months agoFirst, I would try a simple restart. Turn off your PS3, unplug it for a few minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on. Sometimes that's all you need!

If your PS3 is overheating, make sure it's in a well-ventilated area and the vents are not clogged with dust. Use compressed air to clean them out.
Try booting into Safe Mode. Turn off your PS3, then hold the power button until you hear a second beep. You can then restore the file system or rebuild the database, which can fix software issues.
Start with the basics: check your cables. HDMI and power cables can sometimes be a culprit. Make sure everything is plugged in securely.
When my PS3 had issues, I found doing a factory reset helped. Keep in mind this will erase everything on your console, so back up any important data beforehand. You can do this in the settings menu.
