You need to upgrade your Seamoth with a Depth Module! Craft the Mk1 module at the Vehicle Upgrade Console and then further upgrade it at the Modification Station.

Install a Seamoth Depth Module Mk1 to start, and then Mk2 and Mk3. You鈥檒l need the Vehicle Upgrade Console and the Modification Station for these upgrades.

Get the Depth Module Mk1 for the Seamoth at the Vehicle Upgrade Console and upgrade further at the Modification Station.

First-hand here: I got my Seamoth to max depth by upgrading the depth modules sequentially from Mk1 to Mk3. Trust me, it makes exploring much easier!
