How can I make my opponent target a specific creature in MTG?
BustingSpire路7 months agoOh, the art of deception in MTG! Making your opponent target a specific creature can be a sneaky game of strategy. One way is to present that creature as the biggest threat on the board - play weaker creatures alongside it or use it aggressively so it seems like a bigger problem than it is. Another trick is using enchantments or artifacts that boost its power or give it an intimidating ability, making your opponent feel they have no choice but to deal with it ASAP.

Just bait them! Make it too juicy of a target to pass up. Buff it up, make it look scary, but secretly have a plan to benefit from its destruction or targeting. Like a trap card in disguise!
Not worth the effort. Just focus on strengthening your overall strategy instead of trying to control your opponent's moves. Direct manipulation like that is too unpredictable in MTG.
Honestly, just play mind games. Magic's as much about psychology as it is about the cards. If you can convince them it's the key to your strategy, they'll focus on it. Works every time.
