Just hit the 'Photos' tab on your profile, select the album or individual photo, click 'Edit' or 'Edit Privacy,' then switch to 'Only me.' Privacy achieved!
I've done this a million times. Go to your profile, click 'Photos,' then adjust visibility for each photo or album under 'Edit Privacy.'
