I stopped getting those pesky emails by updating my notification settings on Facebook. Under 'Emails', I chose only 'Important notifications'. Problem solved!

Just unsubscribe, it's easier.
Just hop into your Facebook settings, click on 'Notifications', then 'Email', and toggle off what you don't want. It's super easy!
