How can I tell if a Funko Pop is fake?

Spotting a fake Funko Pop is like being a detective in the world of collectibles. First, check the box: legit Pops have clear, vibrant printing and a unique serial number on the bottom. If the box looks faded or the text is off, raise that red flag! Next, examine the figure itself. Authentic Funko Pops have smooth, detailed paint jobs and no weird smudges or discrepancies. If it looks like it had a rough night, it might be a fake. Finally, the price can be a giveaway; if it's too good to be true, it probably is.

Just look at the sticker. If it's missing or looks sketchy, you're probably holding a bootleg.

Real talk: sometimes even the fakes are hard to spot! I bought one that I thought was legit because it looked perfect, but then I realized the serial number was missing. Always, always check the bottom of the box.

If you're a Funko Pop player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
