Look for the red LED lights blinking on the controller. If they're flashing, it's charging. No flash, no juice.

The PS3 controller should show blinking lights when it’s plugged in and charging. If they aren't blinking, try a different cable or port.

If the red lights are flashing on the top of your PS3 controller, it's charging. Party time when they stop flashing and stay lit!

Put that controller in the charger and look for blinking red LEDs at the top. No blinks, no charge.
