You can use the Group method too. Both you and your friend need to be in a Roblox group, and you must have group funds ready to transfer. Ask the group owner to distribute the robux to your friend.
Easiest way is to have your friend create a game and sell a pass or t-shirt for the amount of robux you want to give. You buy it, they get the robux!
You can also use the Group payout method. If you both join the same group and you're an admin, you can give robux directly from the group funds.
Just buy them a Roblox gift card and let 'em spend it as they please. Simple and no complications!
