Honestly, just Google 'Spotify upgrade', and it'll take you right there.
Just did this last week! On your desktop, click your profile icon in the top right corner, hit 'Account', then 'Available plans', and pick your upgrade.
You can upgrade by opening the Spotify app, going to 'Premium' at the bottom, and following the instructions. Enjoy the ad-free music!
