How can I use Messenger without Facebook?

Nope, you can鈥檛 use Messenger without a Facebook account anymore. They merged the accounts a while back.
I've tried all the hacks and tricks, but no dice鈥攜ou need a Facebook account for Messenger. If you got one already, you're good to go!
