Spotting a 1st edition Pokemon card is actually pretty easy once you know what to look for! Just glance at the bottom left corner of the illustration window. If the card is a 1st edition, you'll see a little "Edition 1" symbol there. It looks kinda like a circle with a '1' and 'ED' in it. This symbol is the golden ticket that marks your card as a limited first-run print. Super cool for collectors!

Just check for the '1st Edition' stamp on the card. If it's there, you're golden. No stamp, no first edition. Simple as that.

Honestly, I think the obsession with 1st edition cards is overrated. Sure, they're valuable, but there are so many stunning cards out there. Don't get too caught up on just the editions!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
