How can you tell if a Pokemon card is fake?
CarryingTree路7 months agoSpotting a fake Pokemon card can be a bit tricky, but there are some dead giveaways. The first thing to check is the card texture and color. Real Pokemon cards have a distinct smooth feel and the colors are vibrant but not overly bright. If it feels too glossy or the colors look off, it might be a fake. Another thing is the card weight and thickness. Fakes often feel flimsier or thicker than genuine cards. Lastly, check the printing quality, especially the font and alignment. Misaligned text or blurry images are red flags!

Just weigh them! Real cards have a specific weight to them. Fakes usually don't match up.
Look at the light through it! Real Pokemon cards have a bit of a transparent layer when you hold them up to a light. Fakes miss this cool feature. Also, genuine cards have a unique texture on the holographic part. If it's too smooth, question it.
