How can you tell which MTG deck you have?

First off, check the card artwork and set symbols! Each MTG set has its own unique symbol printed on the card, right below the right side of the picture. This symbol can help you identify which set your deck's cards come from. Also, the color of the set symbol indicates the rarity of the card. Secondly, consider the deck's theme or strategy. MTG decks are often built around specific strategies or themes, like aggro (aggressive play), control (denying opponent's moves), or combo (cards that work together to win the game). Lastly, if you have the original box or any paperwork that came with the deck, that's a dead giveaway!

Just Google the name of your deck if you know it, or the key cards in it. Because MTG has been around since 1993, there鈥檚 a good chance someone鈥檚 discussed it online.

If all else fails, ask at your local game store. The folks there are usually pretty savvy about MTG and can help you figure it out.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
