The best way: Send them a follow request! If you know them, just say you want to connect.
Just ask them nicely! People often respond positively when you're upfront and polite.
From my experience, you just need to be a little patient. Send the follow request and wait for them to approve it. If they don鈥檛, maybe it鈥檚 not meant to be!
