How does combat work in MTG?
Just smash your opponents with your biggest creatures! LOL, but seriously, use your creatures wisely. Block with smaller ones to save health or go all in with your big hitters to crush your opponent quickly. Timing and strategy are key.

Combat in Magic The Gathering is pretty straightforward but has its tactical depths. Each player starts their turn with the untap, upkeep, and draw phases. Then, during the combat phase, the player can choose to attack their opponent with creatures they control. The attacking player declares which of their creatures are attacking, and then the defending player chooses if and how to block those attackers with their own creatures. Any unblocked creatures deal damage to the opponent, while blocked creatures deal damage to each other. Remember, you can only attack your opponent, not their creatures directly, and creatures tapped for other reasons can't attack!
Combat? Simply the best part of MTG! It's where you see your deck's strategy come alive. Careful though, attacking willy-nilly can leave you wide open for a counterattack. It's all about that balance.
