You can't search by real names on PSN, only by usernames or PSN IDs. Try asking your friend for their ID!

PSN search can be a bit finicky. Make sure you're entering their exact PSN ID, including any special characters.

Because Sony doesn’t allow searching by real names, just use the PSN ID instead.
