How come my mic won't work in Apex Legends?
Make sure Apex Legends is set to use the correct mic in the audio settings. I had the same issue cuz it kept defaulting to my webcam mic instead of my headset. Changed it manually and boom, problem solved.

Had this problem last week! Turns out Apex wasn't the issue, my system settings were. Go into your sound settings and make sure your microphone is set as the default input device. Fixed it for me right away.
Check your in-game settings. Apex has a push-to-talk feature that might be enabled. If you prefer open mic, you'll have to switch that setting off.
Honestly, it's probably just broken. Buy a new mic.
First thing, check if your mic is plugged in properly or if it's wireless, make sure it's charged and connected. Sometimes, the simplest solutions are the ones we overlook! Also, dive into the sound settings of your PC or console and make sure Apex Legends has permission to access your mic. If all else fails, a good old restart of the game, or even your system, can work wonders.
