It's simple- game balance. If you had footprints, trackers like Bloodhound would be less special. Their abilities are all about tracking, so footprints for everyone would step on their toes, ability-wise.

So, apparently, no footprints in Apex Legends 'cause it would make tracking way too easy. Imagine trying to sneak around but leaving a big ol' footprint for everyone to follow. The game's all about strategy, and adding footprints would totally change up the sneaky aspect. Plus, with characters zipping around and flying, those footprints would be a mess!

Footprints? In Apex? That'd be a tracking nightmare with how fast everyone's running and sliding around. Plus, think of the servers trying to keep up with all that extra info. No thanks!

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
