In State of Decay 2, each player in co-op mode maintains their own personal inventory, so no need to fight over who gets the last Twinkie! Shared resources like Influence and base facilities can be accessed by everyone, but each player has to manage their own supplies. Cooperation is key, so share those supplies wisely!

Co-op inventory is separate, so no worries about your friend 'borrowing' all your bullets!
From my experience, the best part of co-op is that you don't have to worry about your buddy looting all your gear. You keep your stuff, they keep theirs. Teamwork makes dream work!
