XCOM 2 isn't inherently built for co-op, but with the 'XCOM 2: War of the Chosen' expansion, there's a mod called 'Covert Infiltration' that adds some co-op elements. It's not a fully integrated feature, but it can be fun to play with friends!
Played XCOM 2 with my buddy using mods. It was a blast planning and executing missions together. Highly recommend giving it a try if you enjoy the game!
