Actually, Hot Wheels got its name because they were designed to be faster and flashier than any other toy cars on the market. The name 'Hot Wheels' reflects their speed and the cool factor, kind of like how real life hot rods were the coolest cars on the street back in the day.

Hot Wheels got its name cuz they aimed to make cars that were hotter and more exciting than what was already out there. Elliot Handler, the co-founder, wanted the cars to embody the coolness and excitement of hot rod culture. So, it's like saying these cars are not just wheels; they're Hot Wheels – as in, they're super cool and everyone's gonna want to race 'em!

It's all about the vibe. Hot Wheels sounds way cooler than 'Moderately Warm Wheels.'

Hot Wheels? More like 'Marketing Genius Wheels.' The name alone was half the pitch.
