Sova lost his eye because of an accident during one of his scouting missions. It has never been officially detailed by Riot Games, but the lore around his character suggests he sacrificed it to gain enhanced vision abilities with his cybernetic eye, helping him in tracking and reconnaissance.

Don't think too hard about Sova's eye, the game never gives us the full story. Probably just Riot's way of making him look cooler and fit the tactical, cyber-enhanced theme of the game.

lol, he probably lost it peeking where he shouldn't have. But seriously, Sova's eye loss isn't specifically explained in Valorant's lore. It's implied that he gave it up for his high-tech gadgets to become a better scout for his team.

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
