Hot take: The original Fruits Basket anime ending was rushed and left so many questions! I recommend reading the manga for the full story.

I watched the original Fruits Basket anime and honestly, it just kinda... stops. Tohru helps the Sohmas, but we don't see the curse resolved.

In the 2001 Fruits Basket anime, Tohru continues to support the Sohmas, but we don't get a resolution to everyone's issues. The manga gives way more closure!

The original Fruits Basket anime ends without resolving the Sohma family curse. Tohru helps several members grow emotionally, but the deeper mysteries and curses remain unsolved. It's kinda a cliffhanger!

If you're a Fruits Basket fan, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Crunchyroll gift card, which you can win and use to stream anything you want essentially for free!

In case you're wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying ads) and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
