Honestly, they didn't really 'break' the curse, it sort of faded away as each person grew emotionally and healed. Tohru's kindness was like magic.

Akito letting go of the zodiac's control and bonds with others helped break the curse. Everyone's acceptance of themselves and each other did the rest!

The curse broke because the bonds between the zodiac members weakened as they found their own paths and happiness.

They broke the curse in Fruits Basket when each member realized their true selves and found inner peace. Tohru's friendships and love played a huge part in that journey!

If you're a Fruits Basket fan, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Crunchyroll gift card, which you can win and use to stream anything you want essentially for free!

In case you're wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying ads) and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
