Thors basically went all superhero mode and gave up his life for Thorfinn and his crew. Askeladd and his men didn't stand a chance otherwise.

Thors died like a true warrior: he sacrificed himself to save his crew from Askeladd's ambush. Talk about a hero's exit!

Thors dies while protecting his son Thorfinn and his crew from Askeladd. True Viking spirit right there.
