So, amiibo cards in Animal Crossing: New Horizons are basically like magic keys that bring your favorite characters into your game. You just scan the card using your Nintendo Switch, and BOOM, the character pops up in your game! You can invite them to your island's campsite, and some characters will even move to your island if you ask them nicely. Plus, scanning certain amiibo cards in the Photopia app in the game lets you set up photo shoots with those characters. It's like having VIP access to all your fave Animal Crossing buddies!

Amiibo cards? They're just glorified trading cards. All they do is unlock characters in your game.

Can confirm, amiibo cards are game-changers. Literally had an island full of randoms until I scanned my dreamies' amiibo cards. Now my island's like a personalized paradise!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
