How do artists get paid with Spotify?
SawingBully路3 months agoIt's simple: streams generate royalties, split between the rights holders. The more you listen, the more they earn. But remember, they have to share with managers, producers, and labels!

Spotify pays artists based on the number of times their songs are streamed. However, the actual amount per stream is pretty low.
Artists get paid through a combination of ad revenue (from free users) and subscription fees (from premium users). It's all managed by their record labels or distributors who take their cut. The payout per stream is a fraction of a penny, but it adds up with millions of streams!
They get paid mostly from royalties collected for each stream. But, it's kinda complex with multiple parties taking their share before it reaches the artists.
