How do Assist Spells Work in MTG?
DescribingHail路7 months agoAssist in Magic The Gathering lets a player pay for any part of the spell's cost using mana that another player provides. Perfect for Two-Headed Giant where teamwork's the dreamwork. You and a buddy can pool your mana resources to cast spells sooner than you might be able individually. It's like going halfsies on a pizza, but instead of pizza, it's a devastating spell to take down your opponents.

Assist spells allow another player to help pay the mana cost. It's that simple. Great for team formats or when you're low on resources and need a little boost from a friend.
Not a fan of assist, tbh. It complicates things and makes the game less about individual strategy. Stick to solo casting, folks.
