Assist in Magic The Gathering lets a player pay for any part of the spell's cost using mana that another player provides. Perfect for Two-Headed Giant where teamwork's the dreamwork. You and a buddy can pool your mana resources to cast spells sooner than you might be able individually. It's like going halfsies on a pizza, but instead of pizza, it's a devastating spell to take down your opponents.

Assist spells allow another player to help pay the mana cost. It's that simple. Great for team formats or when you're low on resources and need a little boost from a friend.

Not a fan of assist, tbh. It complicates things and makes the game less about individual strategy. Stick to solo casting, folks.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
