How do Cages Work in Fallout 4?
PassingDada路7 months agoCages in Fallout 4 are basically traps for various creatures and enemies. You build them in your settlement using the Workshop. Each type of cage requires specific bait and materials to construct. Once built, leave it and after a few in-game days, you'll likely catch something. Just be ready for a fight when you open it up, because whatever's inside won't be happy to see you.

They're like the wasteland's version of Pokemon Go, but instead of cute creatures, you get to catch deathclaws and super mutants. Just remember to stock up on the right bait, and maybe don't put the cage too close to your settlers. Safety first!
Cages? More like a headache. Sure, they're kinda cool for catching critters, but then you have to deal with them. And trust me, dealing with a pissed-off radscorpion is not my idea of a good time.
In Fallout 4, cages are your DIY kit for creating a zoo of the apocalypse. Need materials and the right bait, set it up in your settlement and wait. It's a fun side project when you're not saving the world or hoarding Nuka-Cola caps.
