How do copies interact with Kykar in MTG?

When you copy a spell while Kykar, Wind's Fury is on the battlefield, each copy actually triggers Kykar's ability! So, for every spell copy you make, you get a 1/1 white Spirit creature token. It's a nice combo, especially if you're into making a bunch of tokens and casting lots of spells. Just remember, the copies themselves aren't 'cast' so they won't trigger effects that specifically require casting, but for Kykar, you're in the clear for a token bonanza!

Actually, it's all about the wording. Copies of spells won't count as casting, but Kykar loves it anyway. You get those spirit tokens for each copy, which is pretty sweet if you're playing a spellslinger style.

Nah, people overrate this combo. It's cool and all but there are way faster ways to flood the board in MTG. Just sayin'.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
