Just gently push the disc into the slot on the front of your PS5, label side up if it's horizontal (facing right if vertical). It will automatically be pulled in.

The PS5 eats the disc for breakfast if you insert it label side up in horizontal mode. If it’s vertical, make sure the label faces the USB ports.

With your PS5 horizontal, insert the disc so the label faces up. In vertical mode, the label should face left. Easy peasy!
