How do duplicate cards work in MTG Arena?
CompletingClint路7 months agoDuplicates in MTG Arena? Basically, they're your ticket to Wildcards through the Vault or some gems if they're rare enough. It's like the game's way of saying, 'Sorry for the duplicate, here's something to make up for it!'

Having too many dupes in MTG Arena? No worries, they get transformed into something useful! If it's a common or uncommon card, it adds a tiny bit to your Vault progress. Rares and mythics you've maxed out turn into gems - kinda like turning lemons into lemonade, but with cards.
In MTG Arena, when you receive a duplicate of a card you already have 4 copies of (the maximum allowed in a deck), it's not a total loss. Instead, the game converts it into Vault progress. Once the Vault is full, you can open it to receive Wildcards, which you can use to craft any card you want. So, duplicates indirectly help you get the cards you're missing.
Honestly, duplicates in MTG Arena aren鈥檛 as fun as getting a new card, but at least you get something out of them. It's a bit disappointing at first, but getting closer to a Wildcard or scoring some gems isn鈥檛 the worst trade-off.
