From my experience, Facebook suggests friends based on people you might know through your existing friends, similar workplaces or schools, and even your phone contacts if you've allowed access.

Facebook uses a bunch of factors to suggest friends, like mutual friends, shared interests, and groups you belong to. Basically, it's like a digital matchmaker!

Honestly, it's mostly mutual friends. Facebook sees you have lots of common connections and goes 'Hey, you might know this person!'

Facebook collects data on stuff like mutual friends, your location, and interests to suggest friends. It鈥檚 like a friendly stalker, lol.

They use mutual friends and common interests. It's not rocket science, just algorithms!
