I've played a lot of MTG, and here's the simple truth - Fear is basically the 'older cousin' to Intimidate. Both do the job of keeping your attackers unblockable by most creatures, but Intimidate usually gives you a bit more wiggle room based on your creature's color. So if you're running a multi-color deck, Intimidate might offer more strategic advantage.

So, you're asking about the spooky side of MTG, huh? Fear and Intimidate are both mechanics designed to protect your creatures from being blocked, but they work with a slight twist. A creature with Fear can only be blocked by black creatures and artifact creatures. Intimidate, on the other hand, says a creature can only be blocked by creatures that share a color with it or by artifact creatures. The key difference? Fear is very specific (black and artifacts only), while Intimidate is a bit broader, allowing a creature to potentially be blocked by more types depending on its color. But remember, both are about sneaking past defenses!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
