Honestly, if everything else fails, check your TV settings. Some older models have an overscan option that messes with game boundaries.

To adjust the screen boundaries, go to the game's options menu, select 'Display,' and then look for 'Screen Adjustments' to calibrate the screen to fit your display. Worked like a charm for me!
