How do I attach generators in Fallout 76?
DroppingSway路7 months agoSimple. Build your generator, then just aim at it and press the button to attach a wire (it tells you which button at the bottom of the screen). Drag that wire to whatever you wanna power, and release. Done and done.

Honestly, they could make it a bit clearer in-game, but once you get the hang of it, it's super easy. Just be aware of the range limits and sometimes you might need to use power pylons to extend your connections!
To attach generators in Fallout 76, first, you gotta have the materials to build one. After popping that generator down, find the object you wanna power up. Look for the little circle that pops up when you're close, indicating you can connect a wire. Aim at your generator, hit the button to start laying down a wire (it's different depending on your platform), then connect that baby to your object. Voila, power is on!
lol just smack it together. but fr, connecting stuff needs a wire. if it don't reach, you're gonna need more than just thoughts and prayers.
Pro tip: Always check your generator's power output! Some items need more juice than others, so plan your energy grid wisely or you'll be in the dark. Literally.
