How do I block multiple creatures in MTG?
BruisingTopaz路7 months agoIn Magic The Gathering, you can totally block multiple creatures with just one of your creatures if you're feeling brave or strategic! When your opponent attacks, you get to choose how your creatures block. If you've got a creature that's big enough or has some trick up its sleeve, you can declare it as the blocker for more than one attacker. Just remember, each of those attacking creatures will be dealing their damage to your blocker, so plan carefully to make sure your hero can survive the onslaught!

Just to add a quick point - while you can block multiple attackers with a single one of your creatures, keep in mind that not all creatures can do this effectively. Some cards have abilities that make them better at blocking multiple creatures. Cards with the 'reach' or 'vigilance' abilities are prime examples. Make sure to read your cards!
Honestly, it's usually not the best idea to block multiple creatures with one unless you're sure you've got a trump card. Overcommitting a single creature as a blocker can easily lead to it getting overwhelmed and taken out, especially if the attackers have any kind of buffs or combat tricks up their sleeve.
