You can't actually build a mezzanine in The Sims FreePlay since it doesn’t support multi-level open spaces. But you can create a faux mezzanine by using creative wall placements and designing the upper floors with open areas!

A real mezzanine isn't possible in The Sims FreePlay. But, try using balconies and strategic fencing to mimic the look and feel. Happy simming!

Short answer: you can't. The game doesn’t allow for mezzanines. Stick to regular rooms and levels.
