Capping your framerate in Apex Legends can help with smoother gameplay, especially if you're noticing screen tearing or if your GPU is overheating. An easy way to do this is by using the in-game settings. Go to 'Video Settings' and look for an option called 'Adaptive Resolution FPS Target' or use the 'V-Sync' option. Adjust these settings until you find a framerate that's stable for your setup. If you want more control, you can tweak your settings file or use third-party software like Nvidia Control Panel or AMD Radeon Settings.

Just use V-Sync in the game settings, done. Keeps things simple and it works.

Honestly, wouldn't mess with capping fps unless you really need to. Apex Legends runs smooth most times, and capping could mess with your responsiveness.

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
