You can't really cancel it once it's started, but you can always resign the match if you’re not feeling it.

Once you’ve started a Smart Match, it's like marrying your high school sweetheart - hard to undo! If the game hasn’t started yet, you can go to your games list and swipe left on the Smart Match game to delete it.
Bro, just play it out. You might learn something new or make a new friend!
If you're in a Smart Match game and want out, just hit the resign button. You'll forfeit the game but hey, freedom!
