Head over to your Spotify account page, go to 'Your Plan', and then select 'Change Plan'. Scroll down to the 'Spotify Free' section and click 'Cancel Premium'. You'll return to the free version at the end of your billing period!
From personal experience, just go to your account settings, find 'Your Plan', and you'll see the cancellation option there. It's pretty straightforward!
